Infrastructure Solutions

Flooding is a persistent challenge in our low lying coastal county.  We will undertake major efforts to look at short and long term solutions to public and private infrastructure and buildings at risk from major storms, local flash rain and flooding, and King Tide coastal flooding.  We will search for solutions and assist with accessing resources to make our infrastructure more resilient to flooding and support long term master planning for comprehensive and coordinated updates to our drainage infrastructure.

Some of the first projects of this group include supporting the work of the West-End Redevelopment Commission, and the development of the City of Georgetown Drainage Master Plan.
